أفادت بلدية عيترون في بيان بأن الجيش اللبناني دخل إلى القسم الشمالي منها ويعمل على تنظيفها من المتفجرات والألغام والأجسام الغريبة المتواجدة بكثرة في الأحياء.
من المتوقع أن يستكمل انتشاره داخل البلدة وفي المحيط خلال اليومَين المقبلَين
وطلبت البلدة من الاهالي عدم التوجه إلى البلدة حفاظًا على سلامة الجميع وترك مهلة أمام الجيش اللبناني لكي يستطيع مسح الأحياء من الأجسام المتفجرة وغيرها

The municipality of Aytaroun stated that the Lebanese Army has entered the northern part of the town and is working on clearing it of explosives, landmines, and other suspicious objects that are abundant in the neighborhoods.
It is expected that the army’s deployment will continue within the town and its surroundings over the next two days.
The municipality has also asked residents not to head to the town in order to ensure everyone’s safety and to give the Lebanese Army time to clear the neighborhoods of explosive devices and other hazards
